MÉRIDA, Yucatan, (January 11, 2022) .- This 2022 there will also be several companies that will come to Yucatán in order to invest in the State, as confirmed by the Ministry of Economic Development and Labor (SEFOET).
The head of the state agency, Ernesto Herrera Novelo, reported that it is expected that the announcement of the installation of an innovation and technology company that would generate some 1,500 jobs in the state will be made shortly, almost on par with the arrival of Accenture, an innovation and technology company, which will invest 4 billion US dollars in the State.
He said that it is imperative that schools and young people can align themselves with the provisions of these companies in order to have access to well-paid jobs there because they offer important benefits and working conditions.
In the same way, he said that the announcement of the construction of another shipyard for the port of Progreso will be made shortly, with which there would be 3 that would be established in the state.
Likewise, it was reported that two investment announcements will be made shortly for municipalities in the south and east of the Yucatan, as part of the economic development of the State.
“You will soon hear that in the municipality of Peto there will be a very important investment in that branch of industry, and I also have to tell you that we are very happy because, in the Tizimín area, there will soon be significant investments in the agro-industrial sector”, the Secretary of Economic Development and Labor concluded.
