Governor Mauricio Vila celebrates the rescue of a puppy stuck on a bridge

MÉRIDA, Yucatán, (December 11, 2021)..- This Friday the Governor of the State, Mauricio Vila Dosal shared the moving video of the rescue of a puppy that somehow got stuck between a bridge and a post that supported it, preventing it from falling into the void.

Thanks to a citizen report on the incident, staff of the fire department 859 of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) went to the scene and with specialized equipment managed to save the dog’s life, a fact that was celebrated by the governor.

As can be seen in the video, three uniformed men went to the point where the puppy had gotten stuck between a post and the retaining wall of a bridge in the city of Mérida.

The images were released by the state governor, Mauricio Vila Dosal, with the following message: “I share this video of the rescue of a puppy carried out by unit 859 of firefighters of the @sspyuc, this was possible thanks to the report of a citizen, let’s continue working together and taking care of each other, “the state president wrote in his tweet.
