Strong fire in an Auto Body and Paint Shop in Chichi Suarez mobilizes Merida firefighters

Recycled material that was in the yard of a tin and paint workshop was consumed by fire this Sunday morning.

Mérida, Yucatán, (December 13, 2021).- The events occurred around 10 in the morning in the tin and paint shop of the insurance company “HDI” located on Calle 31 between 34 and 36 of the Chichí Suárez community, where the fire destroyed a mound of recycled material made up of cardboard, fiberglass, wood and vehicle parts, which were found in the backyard of that place, the stern of a boat was also damaged in the fire.

Elements of SSP firefighters arrived at the site aboard several units who put out the fire.
