Currently, the Mérida airport carries out 125 daily operations, including commercial, cargo, and private flights. However, the figures for its operations in the year will be released later because the company is listed on the Stock Exchange and cannot be provided earlier.
The destinations with the highest demand at the national level are Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara, while abroad are Miami and Houston.
The airport official announced that Asur is working on the opening of more destinations or routes together with the National and State Tourism Secretariat, which is why expansion works are being carried out at the terminal.
