

Umán, Yucatán, (December 24, 2021).- In an unprecedented event in the municipality of Umán, for the first time there is a Municipal Development Plan (PMD) designed from the social base and citizen participation; a new model designed in an integral way, considering the structural issues of modern times and attached to the Unesco Agenda 2030.
-This is the first PMD in the history of the municipality, which considers seven structural axes fully attached to the needs of modern Umán that citizens demand; with aspects such as social and road infrastructure. Sports, economy, ecology, and in accordance with the provisions of the Unesco Agenda 2030, -said the Municipal President, Gaspar Ventura Cisneros Polanco.
The official presentation was held in the Atrium of the Church of San Francisco de Asis, symbol and emblem of the city of Umán, which aspires, in this way to transcend as an advanced, modern city and with the category of Capital City of the Industries
– I have said it from the beginning, we assume this responsibility as Municipal President with the firm conviction to serve, not to serve ourselves; and we are going to realize goals and dreams. In Umán, the dream is shared, because the municipality not only does well but is also one of the most developed municipalities in the state.
