Maintenance work continues in Progreso Communities

Progreso, Yucatán, (December 8, 2021).- Mayor Julián Zacarías Curi visited the San Ignacio community of Progreso, accompanied by the Director of Public Services and Ecology, Eng. Canan Enrique Góngora Ortegón and the Representative Director Julio Navarro Arguelles, as well as the head of the Unit Communities, Lic. Ricardo Jerez Obando to inspect the work carried out in this place.

“Once these cleaning works are completed, we will continue working in the other Communities, and with the support of the citizens we will continue to cover other areas.”

In this sense, Zacarías Curi, exhorted the inhabitants of the San Ignacio community to help keep the areas clean that are for the benefit of all.

It should be noted that these works are carried out in coordination with the Public Services Directorate, which consists of weeding, pruning, removal of garbage and branches and is being carried out in the area of ​​the main walkway and various areas of San Ignacio.

For this activity, we had the support of 2 brigades and so far 5 dump trucks have been filled with rubble and garbage that will be added to what will accumulate in the coming days.

“Let us continue working as a team and coordinating with the dependencies of the H. City Council so that citizens can travel safely and enjoy these public areas.” the mayor concluded.
