MÉRIDA, Yucatan, (December 18, 2021).- The year 2022 begins with an IMSS clinic in the Los Héroes subdivision. It will be exactly on January 3rd, when the Family Medicine Unit (UMF) number 61 will begin to operate in that area, just a few meters away from Mérida’s Periférico.
This was announced by Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal and the director of the Mexican Social Security Institute, Zoé Robledo Aburto, during his work tour of Yucatán.
Both officials made a supervision visit to this new clinic called “Heroes de la Salud”, which is the only one in the entire state that has a physical rehabilitation module, which will contribute to providing care at the Regional General Hospital “Lic. . Ignacio García Téllez “, better known as T1, as it is the only IMSS hospital with this option in the Yucatan.
