MEXICO, (December 21, 2021).- To Ovidio, Iván Archivaldo and Jesús Alfredo, sons of Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán; Apparently they did not care about the millionaire reward that the United States offers for them, and they even organized a celebration with gifts, music and food in a town in Sinaloa.

According to information revealed on social networks, and confirmed by Proceso magazine; the celebration organized by the children of “El Chapo” took place in a rural area near Culiacán.

The party would have started from last Friday, December 17, and ended until Saturday afternoon. In the gathering that some described as “an inn” in the name of the drug lord; Latest model cars, refrigerators and giant television screens , toys, speakers, bicycles and all kinds of belongings were raffled off .

All the gifts also had the initials “JGL” , corresponding to the name of “El Chapo.”

The United States offers $ 5 million for the children of El Chapo

On December 15, the United States government offered up to five million dollars (106 million 050 thousand 181 Mexican pesos) in reward for any information that leads to the arrest of the children of “El Chapo” Guzmán: Ovidio Guzmán López, Ivan Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar, Jesus Alfredo Guzmán Salazar and Joaquín Guzmán López.

It is a measure by President Joe Biden, who signed two new Executive Orders (EO) declaring a national emergency to deal with drugs and another formally establishing the United States Council on Transnational Organized Crime (USCTOC).
