95-year-old Merida citizen dies from Covid-19

Merida Yucatan; December 22, 2021 (ACOM) .- This Tuesday 21, there were 12 new infections and the death of a 95-year-old man due to the coronavirus in the state of Yucatán.

Today 12 new infections of Coronavirus were detected, 8 in Mérida, one in Kanasín and Oxkutzcab as well as 2 foreigners.

Of the active cases, 134 are at home and 29 of the positive cases are in public hospitals and in total isolation. There are other patients awaiting diagnosis.

Of the 77,611 positive cases, 70,974 patients have already recovered. Specifically, in Mérida, 47,442 people have been diagnosed with Coronavirus.

A 95-year-old man from Mérida is reported deceased, he had no comorbidities.
