The state government will grant a permit for companies that request it.
Mérida, Yucatán.- As of Monday, August 2nd, restaurants will be able to close until 11:00 p.m. and their workers will have a special permit until 12:30 a.m. so they can go home after work.
It should be noted that the restriction on nighttime mobility from 11:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. will be maintained (except for those who carry the permit).
This new provision is the result of the meetings that the State Government has held with businessmen of this industry to learn about their concerns and needs, as well as to find agreements that allow the economic reactivation of Yucatan to continue.
The State Government specified that the businessmen of the sector must process these permits for their collaborators following the steps mentioned below:
The owner or legal representative of the establishment must send, via official letter, a document in Excel format with the data of the vehicles that will require the permit hologram, addressed to Mr. Jaime David Victoria Palma, Director of Protection against Sanitary Risks of the Yucatan Health Secretariat (SSY).
The official letter must be delivered to the window of the Dirección de Protección Contra Riesgos Sanitarios at the facilities of the SSY, on Calle 72 # 463 (between 53 y 55), Colonia Centro, C.P. 97000, in Mérida.
Within 5 working days they will be notified so that they can pick up the decals.

It is worth mentioning that the bearer of such hologram will be responsible for its correct use and must identify himself before the authorities as a worker or representative of the respective restaurant company.
The vehicle will be exclusively for the transportation of persons and is not transferable nor may it be used for purposes other than those expressly indicated above, otherwise the authorization will be null and void.
For misuse of these permits, the State Government would withdraw the same from the restaurant and the business would be fined up to 89 thousand pesos.
In case the vehicle in question is in the process of replacement or change of ownership, a new hologram must be obtained.
