By air, AMLO supervised the Maya Train works on June 4th

Mèrida, Yucatàn, (June 03, 2021).- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador made an aerial tour of the Yucatan Peninsula on Friday, June 4, to supervise the works of the Maya Train. He informed that he will return to Mexico City on Saturday and on Sunday, June 6, he will vote in a polling place near the National Palace.

After asking for the understanding of the reporters for not being able to answer different questions, in order to refrain from violating the electoral ban, the president referred to issues of education, health and justice.

In the first case, he reported that today the union leaders of the teaching profession will meet with the Secretary of Public Education, Delfina Gómez, to discuss the matter of returning to face-to-face classes, and tomorrow Friday the resolution and agreements of the meeting will be reported.

When asked about his schedule for these days, the president replied:

“I am supervising the project in Tabasco, Chiapas, Campeche and Quintana Roo and I am going to fly over the zone of the Maya Train and section seven because we are going to see the line and the progress of the embankment to verify the progress. “
