Group of women sing “Las Mañanitas” to president López Obrador

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador turned 66 years old today Wednesday november 13th, reason why several citizens and a group of Adelitas met outside the National Palace to sing him the mañanitas with Mariachi.

This morning, a group of women dressed as Adelitas (typical women’s clothing from the time of the Mexican Revolution) danced and sang in front of the National Palace to celebrate the President’s birthday.

In front of Gate 1, on Calle de Moneda, the Adelitas (mostly elderly women) celebrated and cheered the president, who was born on November 13, 1953 in Tepetitán, Macuspana, Tabasco.

The Mariachi musical repertoire included Cielito Lindo, Pipiripau and the Son de la Negra.
