Everything is ready for the second edition of the Octopus Festival “Festival del Pulpo 2019” to kick off today. Flavor, nature and tradition: October 18, 19 and 20 in Río Lagartos.
Huaraches, mole, coconut octopus, octopus papadzules, octopus pibil are some of the dishes that diners will be able to taste in this festival, in which 12 local restaurants will participate.
From Friday 18 to Sunday, October 20, people will be able to enjoy this gastronomic festival, featuring music, dancing and the observation of the flora and fauna of Río Lagartos.
The event will include an extensive program headed by a gastronomic exhibition, cultural and artistic activities, exhibit and sale of handicrafts, excursions and guided tours.
More than 80 artisan exhibitors including jewelry, clothing, shoes, art, pastry and artisanal ice cream will be present at this Second edition of the Octopus Festival, whose inauguration will today Friday, October 18th at 8:30 p.m.
