The association known as “Cinco Patas” teams up with supermarket chain Chedraui to change the life of our 4 legged friends all over the Yucatan.
Cinco Patas is a non profit organization that visits Mérida’s, schools, institutions, associations, companies and agencies, to spread the word about social problems that we face every day, with special emphasis on the issue of animal abuse. Their goal is to create awareness of the social and individual selflessness and apathy that leads to animal cruelty: overpopulation, abandonment, violence, diseases, mistreatment, etc.
At Cinco Patas, they consider all animals companions who deserve care, love, respect and dignity.
They not only direct their work towards the education of people in relation to animals, but they also rescue animals in distress, and seek temporary homes or adoptive families for them.
If you want to help Cinco Patas all you have to do is buy Purina products in any Chedraui supermarket, for they to donate the exact amount of money to the cause of Cinco Patas, which will be used for providing any dog or cat´s needs.
They have made a public announcement asking for people to help out and change the life of thousands of pets.
