AMLO to arrive in Mérida Thursday to participate in the Nobel Peace Prizes Summit

The governor of Yucatan, Mauricio Vila Dosal, confirmed that the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), will arrive in Mérida on Thursday September 19th, to be present at the Summit of the Nobel Peace Prizes inauguration ceremony.

Vila revealed the presence of AMLO in Mérida this week, after the civic-military parade in commemoration of the Independence of Mexico, in Mexico City.

AMLO will be in Mérida to participate in a dinner that will be held within the framework of the 17th Summit of the Nobel Peace Prizes, an event that the city will host from September 19 to 21.

Most likely, AMLO will only come to the gala dinner and the leave for agenda reasons.
