Amber Alert activated for two missing girls in Mérida, Yucatán

Two young women from Mérida have been reported missing in Mérida, (one of them since August), so an Amber Alert has been activated for each one, in order to locate and return them to their homes. Obviously, their relatives are extremely worried.


Carol Desiree González Fuentes, is 16 years old, was last seen on Sunday, September 18.

The young lady left her home located in ‘Las Quintas de Mulsay’ Colonia Xoclán, in Mérida, Yuc. on that date.

She has wavy brown hair (not too long). Height: 1.55 meters (5″1 feet).

When she went missing, she was wearing black denim pants, a blouse with a pink floral pattern and white sneakers.


Mariana Abigail Machín Canché, is also 16 years old and was last seen on Friday August 23, when she left her house located in Colonia Roma, Mérida, Yuc.,

She has straight black hair, and dark brown eyes.  Height: 1.54 (5″1 feet approximately), and weighs around 52 kilos (115 pounds).

At the time she went missing, she was wearing blue denim shorts, a gray blouse and blue tennis shoes with floral pattern.

She has a tattoo of the infinity symbol on her chest and uses brackets.
