Mexican actress Yalitza Aparicio, nominated by the Academy for her performance on the motion picture Roma, will be in Mérida as part of the second edition of the “New People” Congress (Congreso “Gente Nueva”), which will take place on September 27 and 28 in the auditorium of the “La Isla Cabo Norte” complex in northern Mérida.
The event is organized by Universidad Anáhuac Mayab (Unimayab) and the association “Gente Nueva”, made up of young people who, through congresses, workshops and social action activities, promote a positive lifestyle among society.
