An important artistic-ecological event will take place on Saturday, July 20, at the beach of Progreso, Yucatán, starting at 5:00 pm with the participation of local, national and international artists.
Uju’um means planet or “our home” in our native Maya language, a very suitable name for a festival that seeks to attract people from all over the world, in order to enhance our culture through the arts.
The event also awakens our ecological awareness, by reminding us that we only have one home and it is very important to be fully aware of this situation, even if it seems so obvious, many people have forgotten how important it is to take care of our planet.
The Ujuum Festival seeks to attract more tourism to the port of Progreso
The artistic-ecological festival will feature the participation of different international, national and local artists, outstanding musicians, but also performances of different styles will be presented, such as aerial dance, jugglers, stilt walkers, as well as a visual effects and video mapping show, always alluding to the theme of ecology.
On Saturday July 20, you can live the unique experience of listening to singer Luca Bacchetti by the sea.
The festival will start at 5 pm and must conclude at 3 am, and will feature everything necessary for attendees to be comfortable and well equipped, as there will be a food area, as a bar with “smart drinks”, always taking in consideration the environment, only biodegradable objects will be used in the food & drink court.
