The United States violates the law of international territory

With an action that must be considered as a total agression against Mexico’s sovereignity, the US government has blatantly violated international laws regarding the territorial and ecological sovereignity of our country, as they have comitted the ecocide of 400+ on the Mexican side of the border.

BIONERO.ORG, is an association formed in the state of Baja California, northern Mexico to raise the ecological culture of children, youth, families and communities across the state, with the ultimate goal of “saving our Mother Earth”, as they say on their website.

One week ago, BIONERO.ORG posted on its Facebook page a video in which it can be observed how bulldozer type heavy machinery, destroys trees that are on the Mexican side of the border, from the American side. The trees are literally ripped off the ground.

A total of 418 adult trees were felled along the border fence in the municipality of Tecate, Baja California, located right on the US-Mexico border. All the trees were on the Mexican side of the border, and it is unknown if this was actually permitted by Mexican authorities, or if they didn’t even notice this was happening.

The felling is carried out by an American company responsible for the construction of the controversial wall, which became a premise during the presidential campaign of Donald Trump, and now has been retaken for its re-election campaign.

So far the AMLO’s administration has not responded to this agression, the Mexican people certainly expect a reaction from their government regarding this abusive actions carried out by the US government.
