Agents of the Federal Police seized Chinese merchandise that entered Mexico illegally at the Merida Airport on Friday June 14th.

A spokesperson of the federal police declared that 800 cell phone cases, 100 computers cables, 30 lamps, 70 cell phone accessories, all of Chinese manufacture were detected and confiscated at the Mérida International Airport.

The merchandise came from Mexico City and was marked with final destination in Merida, Yucatan.

Federal authorities stated that the items do not have any documentation that proves their legal origin, and they were made available to the State Attorney General.
