Shooting in Playa del Carmen bar leaves one dead and 11 seriously injured

“One dead and eleven injured was the result of a shooting that took place on the evening of Monday May 13th, at a bar in Playa del Carmen”, the Quintana Roo Attorney General’s Office said.

Through its Twitter account, the Prosecutor’s Office announced that it had initiated the corresponding investigation to find those responsible for the incident that took place at Cervecería Las de Chapultepec located on Constituyentes Avenue and Calle 100, in Playa del Carmen’s Colonia Ejidal.

The Prosecutor’s Office added that two unidentified subjects opened fire on the bar attendees, and so far there is a record of 11 people injured and one dead.
