Merida Yucatan; May 24, 2019.- Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal concluded the delivery of the 353 new patrol cars to the State Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), fulfilling his promise to the Yucatecans that peace and safety will prevail in the state.
Prior to the Security Coordination Meeting, the Governor delivered the second package of cars, motorcycles and trucks, properly equipped and labeled, which completed the goal of equipping the Yucatecan corporation with new units.
Vila Dosal was accompanied by the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Alfonso Durazo Montaño; the heads of the Secretaries of the Navy (Semar), Admiral José Rafael Ojeda Durán; and of National Defense, General Luis Cresencio Sandoval González; as well as the First Commander of the National Guard, General Luis Rodríguez Bucio,
In his message, the Governor said that security is an issue that requires the coordination of all security institutions, so on behalf of the Yucatecans, he thanked and recognized the full coordination and support from the Mexican Army, Navy and National Air Force, as well as the different federal security corporations.
“In the presence of Dr. Alfonso Durazo, I want to reiterate the commitment of the Government of Yucatan to work hand in hand with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. We join the task of recovering the peace and security of the entire country; the federal government has an ally in Yucatán, to make the National Guard a success and we have the best disposition to work together, ” Mauricio Vila Dosal concluded.
