“Mexico, one of the most dangerous countries in the world” —Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump described Mexico as “one of the most dangerous countries in the world” for the operation of drug cartels and demanded that the caravans of migrants from Central America be stopped.

Through his Twitter account, the U.S. president attacked (again) Mexican authorities and called on them to combat drug production at the border.

“The coyotes and drug cartels have total control of the Mexican side of the southern border. They have laboratories nearby where they make drugs to sell in the U.S. Mexico, one of the most dangerous countries in the world, must eradicate this problem now,” Donald Trump said.

He insisted that the Mexican government must stop the flow of migrants to the border: “Also, stop the march to the United States.

In another message on the social network he called for tougher laws to stop migration, “If the Democrats don’t give us the votes to change our weak, ineffective and dangerous immigration laws, we must fight hard for these votes in the 2020 elections!

Perhaps Mr. Trump doesn´t realize two things:

  1. Mexico it’s not its employee and has no reason whatsoever to stop de caravan… or even do anything about the drugs going into the U.S.
  2. Mr. Trump who claims to be a “master of the deal” hasn´t understand “supply and demand” in any way. Maybe he studied basic economics at Trump University.
