In the framework of the Tianguis Turístico 2019, the governor of Guerrero, Héctor Astudillo Flores, handed over the courier to his Yucatan counterpart, Mauricio Vila Dosal, as the next edition of this important event will take place in Mérida.
The ceremony was held in the garden of the Princess Mundo Imperial Hotel, where the Federal Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco Marqués, was also present, and he mentioned that Yucatan will do an excellent job for the organization of the Tourism Tianguis 2020.
Astudillo Flores thanked that the completion of the Tourism Tianguis was held in Acapulco and reiterated that the port is the starting point of this event, since it was celebrated here for 36 uninterrupted years, and he wished the greatest success to the Yucatecan authorities.
Mauricio Vila said he was thrilled to host the Tourism Tianguis 2020, the most important tourism event in Latin America and he committed to working hard to make this event a huge success for the Tourism industry in Mexico and for the city of Mérida, Yuc.
