Belizeans can travel without a passport to Chetumal and Bacalar for “Semana Santa” and Easter week

According to BreakingBelizeNews.com, Belizeans planning to travel to Chetumal and Bacalar in Quintana Roo, Mexico can now enjoy easier access to the neighboring country with a provisional pass.

This means that for the Easter week, Belizeans will not be required to carry a passport to enter the country as long as they have obtained the pass. The pass was approved by the Mexican business chamber.

According to reports, the chamber decided to approve the pass because Belizean visitors represent at least 40% of total visitors to the country.

Mexican authorities note that during Easter, immigration office statistics show that over 60,000 can enter the country with the pass during the 15-day Easter break.
