The sale of legal weapons is carried out through the Armament and Munitions Commercialization Directorate of SEDENA .
It establishes the requirements for sale to civilians, among which are:
* Photocopy of the Manual of the SMN
* Work letter, specifying: specifying position, seniority and perceptions.
* Letter of no criminal record in original.
* Copy of the proof of address
* Photocopy of identification with photograph
* Photocopy of the birth certificate.
* Photocopy of the Single Registry of Population Registry (CURP).
Based on the requirements of the Sedena, to obtain a private individual license to carry a firearm, the amount of $2,450 pesos must be paid , while the renewal has the same cost.
For an extraordinary permit for the purchase of firearms, cartridges and accessories, an extra $126 pesos must be paid .
