In Merida, a subject was detained by police agents of the SSP, when he was caught infraganti, in the middle of a robbery inside a property in Ciudad Caucel, western Mérida.
The man identified as Carlos A. A., 48 years old, was arrested in Calle 79 of Los Almendros neighborhood in Merida, while committing a house robbery.
However, the man apparently did not act alone, but in the company of another subject nicknamed ” El Negro “, the subjects forced the back door and entered the residence, where they started to collect several items, however the owner of the house discovered them in the act and immediately called the police.The thieves fled the scene and went into the bush, but officers of the SSP conducted a search operation and ended up capturing one of the suspects, while his accomplice managed to escape. Carlos A.A was made available to the Attorney General Office of the State.
In social networks owners of the affected house uploaded the video, where the subject is observed identifying himself, saying his name and age, he also admits that he has been arrested several times, for theft.
It was recommended to owners of properties in the Merida area that if they have suffered a robbery, verify the video and determine if it is the same subject who has committed the crimes, so they can press charges.
