A sail boat in Bacalar capsized for lack of skill of the captain to navigate. The crew members were rescued by service providers from the Seven Colors lagoon.
The incident was recorded around noon on Thursday Dec. 27, in the waters of the Seven Colors lagoon, in front of the Casa Lamat hotel.
The captain of the sailboat, Marthas Heaaming from Germany, requested help from the authorities via radio communicator, through the 911 emergency number.
When the members of the emergency corps arrived in the area of the accident, the boat’s crew members were already being assisted by tourism service providers of Bacalar.
No injuries were reported and all crew members of the sailboat were unharmed.
