Yucatan String Quartet 2018-2019 Season kicks off Thursday Nov. 15

The non-profit organization, Yucatan String Quartet A.C. welcomes you to the eighth season of the Y ucatan String Quartet.

The “Cuarteto” has a wonderful and exciting season planned for all music lovers in the White City.

The Yucatan Quartet, founded in 2011 in Merida by members of the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra, is dedicated to promote the classical repertoire and contemporary literature for string quartets. For the third consecutive year, the Quartet is ensemble in residence at Hacienda Santa Cruz de Palomeque, presenting its eighth season of chamber music concerts.

The 2018-2019 season will consist of 6 concerts from November through March at the beautiful Hacienda Santa Cruz Palomeque.

Tucked away in an exotic garden with palm, orange, flame and other tropical centennial endemic trees, Hacienda Santa Cruz Palomeque combines nature’s harmony with the refinement of colonial architecture and the comfort of the XXI century. With a strategic location, Santa Cruz is just 10 minutes away from the Merida International Airport and 25 minutes west from the historic center.

As you may know, ticket sales only cover a portion of the expenses for a performing group, that is why the Quartet is sending an open invitation to everybody who would like to join them in supporting the arts by becoming a donor.

This year the Yucatan String Quartet A.C has launched a new donor program for which the details can be found on https://cuartetoyucatan.com/about/sponsors/.

If like music and specially if you appreciate chamber music at its finest, then you simply can not miss what will prove to be the best season yet of the Yucatan String Quartet !
