The AMResorts chain, one of the companies of Apple Leisure Group, announced that from November 17, Now Jade Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa will host the second season of the original musical Rock of Ages, considered one of the most successful Broadway , in order to attract a new market segment.
“We constantly seek to take our guests’ vacation experience to the next level, which is why it is an honor to offer this magnificent Broadway show in a destination as highly valued as Cancun and the Riviera Maya,” said Alejandro Zozaya, CEO of Apple Leisure Group.
He indicated that the general public of Quintana Roo, neighboring cities, the guests of Now Jade Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa, as well as the other AMResorts hotels in the Mexican Caribbean, will be able to enjoy this musical.

The event will be presented on stage from November 17 to April 29, 2019 and six feature presentations will be offered from Wednesday to Monday, at 8:30 p.m.
During the presentation event, it was highlighted that since the first season, AMResorts and the company Productores Riviera Shows managed to bring to Cancun and consolidate a first level show that is English spoken, in the same format that has been presented in Las Vegas.
The musical work, with a duration of 90 minutes in one act, compiles the most iconic songs of the work, with a duration of two hours. It boasts 16 actors on stage and five live musicians, from Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Cuba and the United States.
