On Saturday, October 27, Judith de Klerk certified in the #Vijnana Yoga system by the internationally renowned teacher Orit Sen-Gupta, originally from Israel, will give a workshop on this style of yoga.

Judith started to take yoga classes in order to support her study at the mimeteacher-school in Amsterdam. Due to this education she is fascinated by the body and its moving possibilities. At the moment she is a third-year student at the International VijnanaYoga-trainingcollege of Orit Sen-Gupta.
“In my yoga classes, I’ll start from the physical possibilities of each individual, rather than carrying out the perfect asana. Starting from everyone’s physical possibilities we will come into a state of confidence and rest. The elongating, strenghtening and relaxation of the body will provide a clear physical awareness” (Judith De Klerk).

Vijnana yoga is a practice in being present to the deep intelligence of the body – mind – heart.  Daily sitting, pranayama, asana, and the study of yoga texts offers a path to practice and experience this Self awakening technique.
