Throughout history, the UK has consistently attracted more foreign investments with headquarters operations than any other location in Europe and the world; this country is characterized by its business-friendly regulations and thriving environment for innovation and growth, and the Department for International Trade helps foreign companies to establish and grow in the UK.
The Inward Investment Team in Mexico from the UK Department of International Trade and the Global Entrepreneur Programme through their dealmakers. In this edition we are collaborating with Angel Nest Mexico to bring the startup games alive.
WHAT IS THE “START UP GAMES” COMPETITION?
It’s fun, it’s fast and furious. In 1 day, 50 companies will have the chance to pitch to a range of investors. You will learn about many ideas, inventions and research. You will also have the chance to hear from entrepreneurial key note speakers and relevant investors.

A GLOBAL ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAMME
The Startup Games is supported by the UK’s Global Entrepreneur Programme, which encourages overseas entrepreneurs and innovation-rich small businesses with the potential for rapid growth to set up in the UK through our network of 22 UK and overseas based “Dealmakers”, alongside VCs, successful entrepreneurs and angels in their own right.
The application deadline is September 28th, 2018.
Hurry up! You can still apply!

The world is an ecosystem of opportunity and breakthrough technologies can be found everywhere.
There is a wealth of capital, talent and guidance out there, so why not take the very best of what the UK has to offer?
The Global Entrepreneurs Programe (GEP) has developed a highly innovative business model that helps start-ups develop their innovative, early-stage company to scale internationally from a UK HQ.
Successful entrepreneurs and investors are able to relate directly to the challenges and opportunities facing early-stage businesses seeking to grow and commercialize internationally. They are ideally placed to provide strategic business mentoring every step of the way.
GEP help you make connections with key networks that can give you the support, advice and funding that you need to scale.
