The State Attorney General’s Office reported that Carlos Valle Yah, 19, was charged for alleged femicide, which occurred on August 20, against a 6 year old girl in the municipality of Tahdziú, Yucatán.
As we informed last week on The Yucatan Times, the body of the little girl was found inside a well last Monday August 20, in the municipality of Tahdziú, and according to the necropsy, the child would have died of suffocation due to strangulation, after she was sexually abused and her body was thrown into a well.
Valle Yah had a criminal record and three admissions to the public jail, he was placed under custody of the First Control Court of the Third Judicial District, based in Tekax, Yucatán, where the Prosecutor’s Office formulated the imputation and requested the precautionary measure of preventive detention.
According to the facts, María Paula Castillo Manzanero, aged 31, reported her daughter missing on Sunday Aug. 19.
After several hours of searching, the body of the girl was found inside a well, around 6:30 in the afternoon on Monday, Aug. 20.
The aggressor allegedly caused injuries and committed the crime of femicide using physical violence, causing death as a result of mechanical choking by strangulation, as ruled by an expert of the Forensic Medical Service of the FGE.
The Office of the Prosecutor presented the relevant evidence and requested that the indictee be brought to trial, for which reason the Control Judge, after assessing the data, ordered the indictment to be processed and granted the Attorney General a period of 4 months for the additional investigation.
After burying their 6-year-old daughter Ana Cristina, Zenón Gutiérrez Rivero, 34 years old, and María Paola Castillo Manzanilla, 38, announced that they will demand that the murderer is punished with the full force of the law, because they consider what he did to the innocent girl, totally barbaric and inhuman.
