

Elementia, S.A.B. de C.V. announced on Sunday Tuesday August 14, the development of a cement grinding facility in Yucatan, Mexico; with a total investment potentially reaching USD 30 million, starting with a production line that has an installed capacity of over 250,000 tons per year.
In line with Fortaleza’s commercial strategy, the cement produced in Yucatan will be top market quality and will have minimal environmental impact. This new cement plant is expected to begin commercial operations by the end of the first half of 2019.

The project is part of the Company’s previously announced profitable growth strategy focused on countries were it currently operates. Elementia once again bets on the Mexican market through the announcement of this new investment project.
