THE CHALLENGES

The state official warned that, despite being the best results in the sector, the world’s tourism destinations are conditioned to meet the demands of growth: greater infrastructure, orderly growth and care for the environment.

In this regard, with the objective of maintaining growth rates, it is necessary to consider new strategies that allow destinations to maintain their competitiveness.

In Quintana Roo, the National Bank of Public Works and Services (Banobras), is already working on generating the association of private capital companies with the State Government to carry out projects such as the expansion of the Cancún-Tulum highway, as well as beach recovery works.
