On Tuesday Feb. 20, staff of the Tax Administration System (SAT) with the support of the Federal Police, yellow taped and officially closed down restaurant-bar “Cacique”, located on Prolongación Paseo de Montejo, between Calle 3 and 1-H, Colonia Campestre, for not issuing electronic invoices to their customers, which is a way of tax evasion.
The operation began around 9 in the morning, when personnel of the federal agency arrived on site, identified themselves and requested the respective documentation, and when “Cacique” did not comply, the municipal officials proceeded to close down the business and to place the respective stamps.
