

Mexico-based airline Interjet recently announced new non-stop service from two U.S. airports, San Francisco and Chicago, to two popular Mexican gateways, Guadalajara and Cancun, to better serve both international business and leisure travelers.
On January 25, 2018, Interjet Airlines announced new nonstop service between San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Cancun International Airport (CUN) and Guadalajara International Airport (GDL). The new service will offer three flights a week between San Francisco and Mexico.
“The Bay Area is a thriving center of arts and technology, business, sports and innovation,” said José Luis Garza, Interjet’s Chief Executive Officer.
Interjet’s new service between San Francisco and Mexico will be operated on Tues, Wed and Sat using Airbus A320 aircraft seating 150 passengers. Roundtrip promotional fares from San Francisco to Guadalajara start at $249.00, taxes included. Roundtrip promotional fares to Cancun start at $299.00 including taxes.

On January 29, Interjet announced daily, nonstop service between Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Guadalajara International Airport (GDL). The new service will offer daily nonstop flights between Chicago and Guadalajara, serving both the business and leisure traveler.
“Chicago is a growing and very important market for travel to Guadalajara,” Garza said.
Interjet’s new service between Chicago and Guadalajara will start February 16th, also on the 150 passenger Airbus A320 aircraft. Round trip promotional fares from Chicago to Guadalajara will start at $228.56 taxes included. This special fare with be available until April 17, 2018 and valid for trips through April 30, 2018.
