There are 1,200 new houses in nine new colonies under construction…
CAMPECHE — In the first eight months of the year, Campeche was one of the entities where the sale of homes registered a positive trend, said the head of the State Commission for Land and Housing Development (Codesvi), Oswaldo Sierra Villajuana.
The official stressed that this is the result when real estate developers and sellers work together. He mentioned that according to a study conducted by Realty World, with data from the National Housing Commission (Conavi), from January to August of this year, Campeche led housing sales along with Colima, Mexico City, Durango, State of Mexico, Morelos and Veracruz, in comparison with the rest of the entities of the country that registered downward trends, in the same period.
Codesvi’s Sierra recognized, in this regard, the effort deployed by local developers, who have joined the housing strategies promoted by the State Government, as he said that in this city alone are under construction 1,200 new homes.
Sierra Villajuana meant that as part of the efforts carried out by the Governor Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas, there has been a gradual response to the need for housing in all the municipalities of the entity, through self-production programs, but also vertical housing in urban areas, where several projects are running.
“With this positive outlook, what has been done in just over two years in this subject, confirms that we are on the right path to face the housing demand of the families in Campeche,” said the head of the Land and Housing agency in the state.
