Unlike in previous years, many Yucatecan families decided to skip the hustle and bustle of preparing New Year’s dinner and made reservations to receive 2018 in restaurants, hotels and social clubs, enterpreneurs from the food & drink industry reported.
Reservations for new year dinners are full, since the beginning of the month of December, when specials started to be advertised in all kinds of media.
“Reservations in restaurants and hotels in the Yucatecan capital increased up to 30% compared to last year, due to the fact that a good number of meridanos chose to book a four-course dinner in the different restaurants and hotels in the city” reported the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Food Industry (CANIRAC)..
“These establishments offer all-inclusive packages to celebrate this feast, “reported the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Food Industry (CANIRAC).
