Kore Tulum sits within Tulum National Park, just a nine-minute drive or 15-minute cycle from the town’s impressive archaeological site. The seafront resort has no beach, but ocean access is possible via a small rocky outcrop leading to clear, shallow water.

Despite the resort’s away-from-everything feel, Tulum’s centre isn’t far — the nearest taquerias and bars are a three-minute taxi (or six-minute cycle) away.
The ADO bus station is three miles (5km) from the resort; it’s an hour’s drive to Playa del Carmen and an hour and 35 minutes to Cancun International Airport.
