TULUM, Q. Roo — Kore Tulum Retreat & Spa Resort in Tulum, Quintana Roo, is an all-inclusive, adults-only resort on Tulum’s rocky coastline is just two miles (3.3 km) apart from the world-famous ruins.
Generous canopied daybeds offer spectacular ocean views, while spacious rooms come with private hot tubs. Complimentary bikes and daily shuttles to the nearby beach club encourage exploration.
Kore Tulum sits within Tulum National Park, just a nine-minute drive or 15-minute cycle from the town’s impressive archaeological site. The seafront resort has no beach, but ocean access is possible via a small rocky outcrop leading to clear, shallow water.
Alternatively, a free daily shuttle to neighbouring El Paraiso beach club is available, where guests receive 10 per cent off the menu and complimentary loungers. Despite the resort’s away-from-everything feel, Tulum’s centre isn’t far — the nearest taquerias and bars are a three-minute taxi (or six-minute cycle) away.
The ADO bus station is three miles (5km) from the resort; it’s an hour’s drive to Playa del Carmen and an hour and 35 minutes to Cancun International Airport.
