MERIDA — If you are looking for something to do this season, the TYT team recommends you schedule a visit to this year’s edition of Yucatan’s Xmatkuil Fair, the biggest trade and amusement fair in the whole peninsula.
At the fairgrounds in south Merida, several kilometers south of the Calle 50 exit from the Periferico, you will find many regional and national entertainment spectacles, cultural and commercial exhibitions, a whole bunch of merchants selling exclusive Yucatecan products, mechanical games and rides, and a lot of family fun. Also you don’t need to worry about bringing something to eat or drink because there are a lot of restaurants in there.
The entrance ticket’s price is $20.00 pesos, but water park is not included as it will have an extra cost of $60.00 pesos during the Fair time.
The parking price is $35.00 pesos.
The Fair will open its doors at 8:00 a.m. and close them at 2:00 a.m.

Special Promotions for Mechanical Rides/Games
This year the Xmatkuil fair will manage a bracelet system to give free access to several mechanical games in there. The bracelets will be accepted only the day they are purchased. This promotion does not include Sky Flyer, Mega King Tower and Fun Factory, they also don’t apply on Monday, November 20, and both bracelets will be available for sale in the gaming area.
- Basic bracelet, with a cost of $90.00 pesos, with it the visitor can go to all the children’s games they want, and to family games selected for the promotion , as many times as you want.
- Plus bracelet will cost $150.00 pesos, and gives access to all games as many times as desired by the holder of the bracelet.
Also the mechanical rides/games will be at 2×1, this promotion will apply on Thursdays for the general public. In this promotion all the games except the Fun Factory are included.
