“There will be not only big commercial hotels, in fact a lot of boutique hotels will open their doors next year, just as the “Hotel Misión Merida” that just re-opened a few weeks ago, with only 34 rooms and owned by Grupo Luma, a recognized hotel brand that also owns hotels in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo” he said.

Then he remarked that the “Hotel Merida” is separate from the tower that is attached at the rear, and that building will be a Holiday Inn Express. With 90 rooms, it should open its doors in 2018.
