Human livers reportedly found abandoned in Merida

Syringes, gloves, mouth covers and a scalpel were also found at the site…

MERIDA — The discovery of an ice chest with alleged human livers alerted the population of Merida’s Bojórquez colony.

The events occurred on Monday October 2 afternoon in streets 92 with 59 and 59-J, when employees of a nearby community dining room noticed the presence of a polystyrene chest, with paper wrapped organs and plastic bags.

Syringes, gloves, mouth covers and a scalpel were found in the place, among other surgical materials.

According to preliminary information, witnesses pointed out that because of the size of the livers, these may not be from animals.
