Southwest plans seasonal non-stop service between New Orleans, Cancun

Southwest Airlines plans to add non-stop flights between New Orleans and Cancun on a seasonal basis next year.

A news release said the service is set to begin on April 14, 2018, between Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and the Quintana Roo beach resort, pending regulatory approvals.

On September 2, the Southwest website published a nonstop flight next April between New Orleans and Cancun with a two-hour, five-minute flight time. Prices start at $142 one-way.
