What’s going on in Playa del Carmen nowadays?? It use to be a great quiet but fun place to go but every day or week I read in the news about disappearance, shooting, fight, and murder!!! What are the authorities doing??? You guys are going to loose a lot of tourism business if nothing is done quickly!!! Think about it, this can hurt your local economy very badly. Just last February, I was arrested for supposedly speedng on Highway 307, I had just left the airport road and following traffic and got arrested, I had to feed 40$ so he would let me go. A few days later got a check from another harassing crooked policeman, I tell you, I just love Playa and Mexico but it was the 1st time in 14 trips there that I was bothered so much. This is hurting tourism as well as people don’t trust the country’s civil order reps enough to enjoy a peaceful ride in Mexico. Please do something so we can visit you in complete confidence and peace of mind!
