COZUMEL — From June, the “Island of Swallows” and the “Pearl of the West” will be connected directly with the activation of a flight of the airline Volaris, whose ticket cost will be less than 800 pesos, according to the administrator of the International Airport of Cozumel, Juan Pablo García Luna Gutierrez.

This inaugural flight will be on Sunday, June 25, leaving the city of Guadalajara at 10:15 hours, arriving in Cozumel at 13:09 hours, lasting approximately two hours 54 minutes.
The administrator of the terminal explained that this route will have two weekly frequencies on Friday and Sunday, whose cost per single ticket will be 799 pesos; Volaris will be using an Airbus-320 aircraft, with capacity for 189 passengers.
IN TEST
This connection will be a test mode for a year, as the flight is added to the frequencies coming from Mexico City, capturing national tourism. In addition, there is the possibility that depending on the generated demand, the frequencies of the flights of this route could considerably increase during the holiday season.
