Human bones found in cave in southern Merida

Two young men found human remains in a cave on the grounds of the Hacienda Nohoch building, in the Emiliano Zapata Sur colony I.

The minors were looking for wood at the hacienda, located at 98D Street at 135 Street of that colony, to make a shed in one of the lots of the colony, which is why they decided that the cave would be the place to search.

They found the bones in a hole, without imagining that they were of a human skeleton.

Frightened, the youths gave notice to another person, who immediately called the authorities.

Authorities came to the site to carry out the relevant tasks and investigations.

So far it is unknown if the body has marks of violence, but the authorities have opened an investigation.
