This Earth Day, we’re facing a turning point in human history: 2016 was the warmest year on record globally, and 2015 the warmest year before that. Now 2017 is heating up fast.
Earth Day Network is doing everything we can to fight for climate solutions, but without every single person who calls Earth home stepping up to help us, our planet will face even worse statistics in 2018 and beyond. We need to make sure future generations will have an Earth as beautiful and diverse as ours to call home.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you: We need 400 people to step up and join our movement with a donation of $25 before midnight tomorrow so we can raise $10,000 to fight climate change together.
Today marks the beginning of Earth Week. If we stand by and do nothing, that threat – a future defined by melting glaciers, devastating droughts and a rapid loss of species and habitats – will become an irreversible guarantee.
That’s why we need you to take action right now. Give $10, $25, $50 or $100 now to help stop climate change and protect our shared home. We know there is a huge amount of work to be done, and Earth Day 2017, with its focus on climate science, is a critically important moment. The facts are in. Let’s not lose sight of what we know to be true.
We know that, together, we can build peace, environmental protection and environmental prosperity, and we can solve climate change.

We do this on behalf of all living things and for those not yet born – on behalf of the 10,000 species per year that will become extinct if we don’t act and the billions of children who will grow up in climate poverty during our lifetimes.
We do this because everything is at risk: our way of life; our climate; our oceans, plants and animals.
Donate today to support our efforts – to build peace, environmental protection, environmental prosperity and solve climate change. Make our movement a powerful presence at this critical moment!
Thank you,
Kathleen Rogers
