Either if you are an Expat living in Mexico or just one more of the millions of tourists who visit this sacred land of the Maya, you can’t miss out on the light and sound show at Chichen Itza.

Remember that you have to apply through their website for tickets but it runs every night and is the most breathtaking show.

Try to time it when there’s a full moon rising (like this weekend, for example).

The night tour at the archaeological site of Chichen Itzá begins at the main entrance of the site. For about 45 minutes, you will be able to visit some of the main buildings in the surroundings of the Pyramid of Kukulkán (The Castle). Afterwards, you will be seated in front of the pyramid to enjoy the projection on its façade. For 25 minutes you will discover the secrets of Chichén Itzá´s amazing history.
