American tourist struck by boat propeller while swimming in Cozumel

COZUMEL, Q. Roo — An American tourist on Cozumel was rushed to hospital because he was struck by a boat motor propeller, which he apparently approached when performing underwater activities.

A patrol of the Public Safety Directorate and an ambulance of the hyperbaric clinic came to the scene, where paramedics attended 79-year-old Hugh Solberg from Minnesota, USA, who had several injuries to his legs and right arm.
